My journey into aerial dance start through my art. I had been working with circus images in different mediums during the late 90’ early 2000. It was then I started taking flying trapeze and static trapeze at the SF Circus Center. I was then introduced to the work of Terry Sendgraff and she quickly became my mentor. Terry pioneered aerial dance and it incorporated many things that I loved. It melded movement, sculpture, and flying. I have performed and studied with Terry Sendgraff, Julie Ludwick’s Fly-by-Night Dance theater, and am currently a company member with Cherie Carson’s UpSwing Aerial Dance Company.
