I have always enjoyed the act of sweeping. For me the handmade brooms are a perfect melding of function and beauty. To have a beautiful object while performing an act brings joy into ones life.

The brooms are hand tied in the shaker style with broomcorn. I use locally sourced wood from a friend’s farm; black walnut, cottonwood, and willow. I also use found objects that make fun handles for the brooms like, measuring sticks and deer antlers.

Broom Care:

• Always hang your broom or whisk for storing. Leaning your broom or whisk on its end for storage can lead to the bristles bending.

• If your broom gets wet just hang it to dry.

• If mold appears on broom from being wet for an extended period of time, clean with vinegar.

*All kitchen sweepers come with a lifetime warranty. If something happens to it; binding loosens, etc. Please contact me and I will fix it or replace broomcorn.
